I can find the song file no problem but…. It doesn’t even have mpa after it it just says the song name, iv went tinto setting and i don’t know how to change it

tought it was on how to get free ringtones from itunes but this is cool too thx man….
i’ve followed all your steps and in the end it says syncing…. but in ringtones on the iphone the song doesn’t appear. why?? is there any setting on the phone that could be wrong?

Another easy way to do it is to go to mobilespin and use their free online ringtone tool. After you use the tool to create your ringtone (in only 3 steps), it gives you a .m4r file which you put in iTunes and sync and you are done! You can create as many ringtones as you want! Remember if you have iTune songs (which are M4P format), convert them to MP3 first, there are many free tools to do this
